Who are we looking for?
We are seeking a seasoned Business Analyst with strong business acumen in the Finance domain.
The ideal candidate boasts a minimum of 5 years of hands-on expertise, is proficient in English to facilitate seamless communication, is willing to travel, and has a proven track record of excelling in a consultant role. You will be living in the UK. The ability to speak Dutch or French, and experience across European markets would be beneficial.

Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and define project requirements.
- Conduct a thorough analysis of business processes, systems, and user needs to identify solutions and improvements.
- Create and maintain detailed functional and non-functional requirement documents, user stories, and use cases.
- Translate complex technical concepts into easily understandable language for non-technical stakeholders.
- Perform gap analysis to identify discrepancies between business requirements and current systems.
- Work closely with development teams to ensure accurate implementation of requirements and timely issue resolution.
- Participate in design and architecture discussions, offering insights to ensure alignment with business goals.
- Facilitate effective communication between technical and non-technical teams, fostering a collaborative environment.
- Perform quality assurance testing to validate that the software meets specified requirements and functions as intended.
- Assist in project planning, estimation, and risk management activities.
- Provide ongoing support and clarification to development teams during the software development lifecycle.
- Analyze user feedback and system performance data to recommend continuous improvements.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to ensure the software solutions align with current standards.
- Act as a subject matter expert for business processes, systems, and software functionality.
- Conduct training sessions and create user documentation to ensure smooth adoption of new software features.

MUST Have
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business administration or comparable field of study
- Minimum 5 years' experience as a Finance Functional Business Analyst or Finance ERP Consultant
- Minimum 3 years in client-facing roles
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Experience with project management software tools
- 50% availability for travel, including across Europe
- Fluent in English
- Legally entitled to work in the United Kingdom
What sets you apart
- Experience in ERP implementation
- Experience with IFS Financials
- Experience working in Finance or Accounting in one or more of the following industries: Manufacturing; Energy & Utilities; Service Sector; Construction & Engineering; Shipping & Harbour Services; Aviation & Defense
- Proficiency in Dutch or French
- Understanding of financial regulations in Europe, particularly France, Belgium and Netherlands
