IFS Contractor | 6 Months | Wymondham | Automotive Technology
We're working on behalf of our client working in the automotive technology sector to look to support the Manufacturing Group during a period of significant business change and operational development.
What You'll Be Doing
You'll work directly with manufacturing teams to:
- Act as the manufacturing subject matter expert for IFS
- Support inventory accuracy, stock control and ERP best practice
- Help deliver successful year-end stock takes and inventory audits
- Investigate and resolve stock and transaction discrepancies
- Improve manufacturing processes and ERP workflows
- Create and maintain work instructions and process documentation
- Train and support users across the manufacturing operation
- Ensure manufacturing master data and system transactions remain accurate
- Support operational readiness for the move to IFS Cloud
- Assist with maintaining ERP continuity during the relocation to the new manufacturing facility
- Identify practical opportunities to improve efficiency across manufacturing operations

What We're Looking For
You'll ideally have:
- Proven hands-on experience using IFS ERP within a manufacturing, engineering or production environment
- Strong knowledge of inventory management and stock control
- Experience supporting manufacturing or shop floor users
- A good understanding of manufacturing processes and ERP transactions
- Experience supporting stock takes, cycle counts and inventory accuracy
- The ability to produce clear process documentation and work instructions
- Strong communication skills and confidence to work across multiple operational teams
- A pragmatic, hands-on approach with excellent problem-solving skills

Desirable Experience
- Exposure to IFS Cloud or ERP upgrades
- Planning, MRP or production control knowledge
- Experience within engineering, automotive, motor sports or advanced manufacturing
- Experience supporting manufacturing relocations or major operational change
- Continuous improvement experience
Rate and Benefits
- Fully negotiable rate
- Outside IR35
- 6 month contract with opportunity to extend
- Office in Wymondham
