About the Role

We are looking for an experienced IFS Functional Consultant to join a growing organisation and play a key role in the development, optimisation and ongoing support of its IFS ERP environment.

You will work closely with business stakeholders, IT teams and external partners to understand business requirements, translate them into effective IFS solutions, and support the delivery of continuous improvements across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a functional SME for the organisation's IFS ERP platform.
  • Work with business stakeholders to understand requirements and identify opportunities for process improvement.
  • Translate business requirements into functional specifications and IFS solutions.
  • Configure and optimise IFS functionality to meet business requirements.
  • Support IFS implementations, upgrades, enhancements and continuous improvement projects.
  • Work across relevant functional areas including Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Finance, Projects and/or Service Management.
  • Support testing activities, including system, integration and user acceptance testing.
  • Investigate and resolve functional issues and provide ongoing application support.
  • Work closely with technical teams on integrations, reporting, interfaces and system enhancements.
  • Produce functional documentation, process maps and user guidance where required.
  • Support data migration activities and validate migrated data.
  • Liaise with third-party IFS partners and implementation teams where appropriate.
  • Provide training and knowledge transfer to key users and internal teams.
  • Help drive best practice and maximise the value of the IFS platform across the business.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
