We're currently supporting a leading Aerospace & Defence organisation that is looking to engage an experienced IFS MRO Consultant for an initial 6-month contract.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a major IFS programme, helping to optimise Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) processes within a complex aerospace environment. You'll work closely with key stakeholders to ensure the IFS solution supports efficient maintenance operations, improves asset availability, and delivers best practice across the organisation.

- Configure and optimise the IFS MRO solution to meet business requirements.
- Gather and translate business requirements into functional IFS solutions.
- Support workshops, process mapping, testing, and user acceptance activities.
- Provide expert guidance on Aerospace & Defence MRO best practices.
- Work alongside technical and functional teams throughout the project lifecycle.
- Support training, documentation, and knowledge transfer where required.
Essential Experience
- Strong functional experience with IFS ERP.
- Proven experience delivering IFS MRO (Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul) solutions.
- Experience within Aerospace & Defence or a similar regulated industry.
- Strong understanding of maintenance planning, work orders, component repair, engineering, and asset management.
- Experience working on IFS implementation, upgrade, or optimisation projects.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

Desirable
- Experience with IFS Cloud.
- Knowledge of aviation maintenance regulations and industry best practices.
- Previous experience working in complex enterprise transformation programmes.
