IFS Product Owner
Inverness | Hybrid | Permanent
Salary: £68,000 – £88,000 DOE
Location: Inverness
Working Pattern: Remote
Employment Type: Permanent
The Opportunity
We are working with a growing organisation in Inverness that is looking for an experienced IFS Product Owner to take ownership of its IFS ERP platform and play a key role in driving continuous improvement across the business.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong IFS Applications / IFS Cloud experience who enjoys working closely with both technical teams and business stakeholders to turn business requirements into effective ERP solutions.
You will act as the key link between the business, IT and any external IFS partners, ensuring the ERP roadmap continues to support the organisation's operational and strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and manage the IFS ERP product roadmap, prioritising improvements based on business value.
- Act as the primary point of contact for IFS across the organisation.
- Work closely with business stakeholders to understand processes, pain points and future requirements.
- Translate business requirements into clear functional specifications and user stories.
- Manage and prioritise the IFS product backlog.
- Coordinate with internal technical teams and external IFS partners.
- Support and lead continuous improvement initiatives across IFS.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes through better use of IFS functionality.
- Support IFS Cloud upgrades, releases, patches and new functionality.
- Coordinate testing, including SIT, UAT and regression testing.
- Manage change requests and ensure appropriate governance around developments.
- Monitor system performance, issues and enhancement requirements.
- Provide guidance and support to key users and business stakeholders.
- Ensure the IFS platform remains aligned with wider business and digital transformation objectives.

IFS Experience
We are particularly interested in candidates with experience across:
- IFS Applications / IFS Cloud
- IFS ERP implementations or upgrades
- IFS Cloud functionality and continuous improvement
- Business process mapping and optimisation
- Requirements gathering and stakeholder management
- IFS modules such as Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Projects or Service Management
- IFS integrations and third-party systems
- Testing and release management
- Working with IFS partners or implementation consultancies
- Managing ERP roadmaps and product backlogs
About You
You will ideally have:
- Previous experience working as an IFS Product Owner, IFS Business Analyst, IFS Functional Consultant or ERP Product Manager.
- Strong hands-on knowledge of IFS Applications and/or IFS Cloud.
- Experience working with senior business stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of ERP-driven business processes.
- Experience managing requirements, priorities and product roadmaps.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- The ability to bridge the gap between technical teams and business users.
- A structured and commercially focused approach to prioritising change.
