About OLIX
AI is growing faster than any technology in history and the explosion in demand has created a massive infrastructure gap; we can no longer build chips or power stations fast enough to keep up. The industry is still leaning on a ten-year-old hardware blueprint that has reached its limit. A new paradigm that is faster and more efficient will be the biggest economic opportunity of the next century and create the most important company of the next decade. The OLIX Decode Accelerator 1 (DX-1) is the first accelerator architected specifically for decode. Rack-scale co-design of logic, data movement, packaging, optics and interconnect enables a step change in system level performance.
The Role
We're implementing IFS as our business ERP and manufacturing MES platform, and there's significant customisation required to make it fit how OLIX actually operates. We're looking for an IFS Programmer/Developer to work hands-on with the platform: configuring, customising, and integrating it so it reflects our real business and manufacturing processes rather than a generic template. This is a foundational hire on our IFS build-out, based out of our London HQ, with real scope to grow as the implementation, and your ownership of it, expands.
Responsibilities
- Support the definition of OLIX business processes across finance, operations, and manufacturing
- Deliver IFS customisations that implement those business processes in the system
- Establish system connectivity between IFS and other OLIX business tools (e.g. PTC Windchill, REST APIs)
- Work closely with functional stakeholders (finance, supply chain, manufacturing) to translate process requirements into working IFS configuration and custom development
- Help establish good practice for how we build, test, and maintain customisations as the implementation scales

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Due to U.S. export control regulations, candidates’ eligibility to work at OLIX depends on their most recent citizenship or permanent residency status. We are generally unable to consider applicants whose most recent citizenship or permanent residence is in certain restricted countries (currently including Iran, North Korea, Syria, Cuba, Russia, Belarus, China, Hong Kong, Macau, and Venezuela).
