About the role
As an IFS Technical Consultant, you will play a key role in delivering successful IFS implementations, upgrades and technical consultancy for our customers.
Working closely with Project Managers, Functional Consultants and customers, you will design, configure and develop technical solutions that enable organisations to maximise the value of their IFS investment.
You will also provide technical leadership throughout the project lifecycle, from pre-sales support through to implementation, go-live and ongoing customer support.
What you will be doing
- Deliver technical consultancy across IFS implementation, upgrade and optimisation projects.
- Design, configure and customise IFS solutions to meet customer requirements.
- Develop integrations, connectivity solutions and data migrations.
- Produce IFS Reports and technical reporting solutions.
- Support customers by investigating and resolving technical issues.
- Work alongside Functional Consultants to deliver complete business solutions.
- Contribute to workshops, technical design sessions and Business Information Reviews.
- Mentor junior consultants and share technical knowledge across the team.
- Contribute to the development of Cooper Software's own products, tools and AI-driven innovations.
- Stay at the forefront of new IFS capabilities and emerging technologies.

About you
You will already have experience delivering technical IFS solutions and enjoy working directly with customers to solve real business challenges.
You will ideally have experience in:
- IFS implementation and upgrade projects.
- IFS configuration and technical development.
- IFS Connectivity.
- Data migration.
- Crystal Reports.
- Technical troubleshooting and support.
- Integrating IFS with third-party applications.
- Producing clear technical documentation.
- Working within project delivery environments.
Experience across multiple industries and versions of IFS would be highly advantageous.
