IFS Test Lead
Location: UK / Hybrid Contract: 5 months IR35: Outside IR35 Start Date: ASAP
The Role We are currently seeking an experienced IFS Test Lead to support an IFS ERP transformation programme. You will take ownership of the testing strategy and delivery across the programme, ensuring the IFS solution is thoroughly tested and ready for deployment.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced IFS testing professional to join a major transformation programme and work across a range of business and technical stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end testing strategy for an IFS implementation / transformation programme.
- Develop and manage test plans, test scenarios, scripts and test schedules.
- Coordinate SIT, UAT, regression, integration and system testing.
- Work closely with IFS functional, technical and business teams to define testing requirements.
- Manage defect identification, triage, prioritisation and resolution.
- Coordinate testing resources, including internal teams, implementation partners and business users.
- Provide regular reporting on testing progress, risks, issues and readiness.
- Ensure appropriate test coverage across IFS modules, integrations and business processes.
- Support cutover, go-live readiness and post-go-live testing activities.
- Establish and maintain testing standards, processes and governance.

Key Skills & Experience
- Strong experience as an IFS Test Lead / Test Manager within an IFS ERP environment.
- Proven experience delivering testing across IFS Applications and/or IFS Cloud.
- Strong understanding of SIT, UAT, regression and integration testing.
- Experience managing testing across complex ERP transformation programmes.
- Excellent defect management and test governance experience.
- Ability to work effectively with functional consultants, technical teams, project managers and business stakeholders.
- Experience working with implementation partners and third-party integrations.
- Strong communication, organisation and stakeholder management skills.
- Previous experience leading testing teams or coordinating multiple testing workstreams.

Desirable
- Experience with IFS Cloud implementations or upgrades.
- Experience across multiple IFS modules such as Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Projects, Service Management or HCM.
- Experience within engineering, manufacturing, construction, aerospace, defence or other asset-intensive environments.
- Experience supporting IFS go-lives and transition into hypercare.
