We’re working with an established UK gaming business that develops engaging gaming content for players across the country.
Due to continued growth and expansion within their digital gaming offering, they’re looking for a JavaScript / TypeScript iGame Developer to join their Birmingham-based team and help build visually engaging, browser-based gaming experiences.

THE iGAME DEVELOPER ROLE:
As a JavaScript / TypeScript iGame Developer, you’ll develop and optimise graphical applications for browser-based games.
You’ll work with PixiJS and related technologies to bring game visuals and interactions to life, collaborating closely with artists, designers and other developers to create smooth and engaging gameplay experiences.
You’ll also be responsible for writing clean, maintainable code, troubleshooting technical issues and continuously improving performance across different platforms.
iGAME DEVELOPER ESSENTIAL SKILLS
- Strong commercial experience with JavaScript
- Strong experience with TypeScript
- Experience with PixiJS or similar 2D rendering libraries
- Experience developing graphical applications or interactive media within web browsers
- Good understanding of HTML5 and CSS3
- Understanding of web graphics and browser-based rendering
- Familiarity with game development frameworks
- Knowledge of performance optimisation techniques
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
