Job Description
This opportunity is for a skilled illustrator to recreate a supplied reference image as a modern black-and-white artwork. The project centers on transforming a charcoal-style reference into a contemporary piece, allowing creative freedom in selecting the medium and technique that best captures the essence of the original. The artwork will be used for a personal project, and the client is open to your recommendations regarding the timeline and artistic approach. The reference image provided features a strong, emotive style, and the goal is to produce a high-quality, faithful recreation with a modern touch.
Deliverables
- Recreate the supplied reference image as a modern black-and-white artwork
- Select and apply the most suitable medium and technique (digital or traditional) to best capture the original's character
- Deliver a high-resolution digital file suitable for printing or display
- Communicate progress and provide drafts for feedback as needed
- Complete the project within a mutually agreed timeline

Requirements
- Proven experience in illustration, with a strong portfolio of black-and-white or charcoal-style artworks
- Ability to interpret and modernize reference images while maintaining their core essence
- Proficiency in digital illustration tools (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Procreate) or traditional media (charcoal, graphite, ink)
