Imaging Administrator | KIMS Hospital Maidstone

Are you an experienced administrator with the ability to prioritise your workload? Are you committed to excellent patient care?

We have an exciting opportunity for a process-driven individual to join our Imaging Team as an Imaging Administrator. You will be responsible for the day-to-day coordination of radiology patient appointments and organisation of diagnostic clinics.

This role is ideally suited to a highly organised and patient-focused administrator who has experience dealing with stakeholders at all levels both face to face, over the telephone, and email.

This is a 40-hour per week role working Monday to Friday between the hours of 08:00 and 20:00. Shifts are either 08:00-16:00, 10:00-18:00, and 12:00-20:00.

Role Responsibilities

As an Imaging Administrator, you will:

  • Organise and manage the day-to-day booking of Radiology patient appointments, effectively utilising the clinic sessions available.
  • Provide efficient and effective back-office telephone and email administration services in a prompt and professional manner.
  • Monitor the NHS email for urgent referrals.
  • Welcome all patients, visitors, consultants, and staff to the Radiology department and provide direction to other hospital departments when required and confirming all patient details.
  • Scan onto PAS all referrals and relevant paperwork received, in a timely manner.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
