Hours: Full-time
Contract type: Fixed-term (for 18 months)

About The Role
You will use a range of imaging technologies to capture, process, archive and deliver digital images, primarily of microfilm held within the Bodleian Libraries. You will work as part of the Imaging Services team to produce digital images on a variety of imaging workstations, ensuring the necessary technical requirements are met when setting up and operating equipment.
You will maintain accuracy and care when imaging items, with due regard to their safety and preservation, keep accurate and detailed records, and enter technical and administrative information into the studio database. You will plan and organise your day-to-day work and liaise with colleagues on issues concerning handling and support during scanning and filming.
This is a full-time, fixed-term post for 18 months.
Please note that this role is based at the Collections Storage Facility in Swindon.
About You
You will have a recognised qualification in Imaging or equivalent experience, together with strong IT skills and a willingness to learn new software packages. You will have experience of working within a deadline-driven production environment and excellent attention to detail. You will have excellent communication and team working skills and a proven record of delivering consistent, detailed and accurate results.
