Job Opportunity: Experienced Administrator

We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established organisation within the transport and logistics sector for an experienced Administrator to join a busy fleet operations team. This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and proactive individual looking to develop a long-term career within a fast-paced operational environment.

Working as part of a supportive team, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of fleet administration, gaining exposure to a variety of operational and compliance activities. The business offers ongoing training, opportunities to broaden your skillset, and genuine scope for career progression.

This is an immediate start opportunity, and due to the nature of the role, applicants should have previous experience within the transport, logistics, fleet, vehicle maintenance, or a similar operational environment, and be available to start as soon as possible.

A competitive salary is offered, along with the opportunity to join a growing organisation that values its employees and supports long-term career development. Please note, this is a fully office-based position.

Skills & Experience

  • Previous administration experience within transport, logistics, fleet, vehicle maintenance, engineering, or another fast-paced operational environment.
  • Experience supporting a workshop, service, or maintenance function would be advantageous.
  • Confident using Microsoft Office, with experience of fleet or maintenance management systems being beneficial.
  • Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • A full UK driving licence is essential, as occasional vehicle movements may be required.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
