Immigration Administrative Assistant
Location: London (EC2)
Type: Full-time, Permanent
A growing professional services firm is seeking an organised and client-focused Immigration Administrative Assistant to support its busy Immigration team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong administrative skills who is looking to gain exposure to immigration casework within a supportive and fast-paced environment.
The Role
You will play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of client matters, providing a mix of administrative support, client communication, and entry-level casework assistance.
Key responsibilities include:
- Opening and managing client case files, ensuring accurate record-keeping
- Drafting standard correspondence, emails, and application forms
- Managing diaries, appointments, and application deadlines
- Acting as a first point of contact for client queries
- Requesting and organising supporting documentation
- Assisting with preparation of straightforward immigration applications
- Conducting basic document and eligibility checks
- Monitoring correspondence and updating internal systems
- Supporting invoicing processes alongside the accounts team

About You
Essential:
- Strong organisational and administrative skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- High attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
- Professional, client-focused approach
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and general IT systems

Desirable:
- Experience in a law firm or professional services environment
- Exposure to immigration or visa applications
- Familiarity with UK immigration processes
- Experience using case management systems
- Additional language skills (e.g. Mandarin, Japanese, Korean)
