Brose Solicitors Ltd is looking for an experienced Immigration Caseworker / Paralegal to join our team. This is not an entry-level position. We are looking for someone with practical UK immigration casework experience who is confident in managing immigration matters independently with minimal supervision.
The Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing their own caseload and supporting the firm's immigration practice, including:
- Taking initial instructions and communicating directly with clients
- Preparing and submitting UK immigration applications
- Drafting cover letters, representations, and other legal correspondence
- Reviewing supporting documents and identifying missing evidence
- Managing cases from initial instruction through to submission and outcome
- Maintaining accurate and compliant client files
- Liaising with the Home Office and other relevant organisations where required
- Managing deadlines and providing clients with timely updates
- Assisting with general administrative and client-facing responsibilities when required

What We Are Looking For
The ideal candidate should have:
- Previous practical experience in UK immigration casework
- Ability to manage immigration cases independently with minimal supervision
- Strong knowledge of UK immigration procedures and application processes
- Excellent drafting, communication, and client-care skills
- Strong administrative and organisational abilities
- Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines effectively
- A proactive, responsive, and dynamic approach to work
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to learn quickly
- Confidence dealing directly with clients

Language Skills
Excellent written and spoken English is essential. Proficiency in one or more South Indian languages, particularly Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, or Kannada, is highly desirable due to the firm's client base.
