Role Description
This contract Immigration Consultant role is a hybrid position based in the London Area, United Kingdom, with some flexibility for work from home. The Immigration Consultant will advise clients on immigration options, assess eligibility, and guide them through processes related to visas and global immigration matters.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

- Conducting consultations
- Gathering and reviewing documentation
- Preparing applications
- Drafting clear correspondence and supporting statements
- Staying current with immigration law and policy changes
- Liaising with authorities and other stakeholders
- Maintaining accurate case records and timelines
- Collaborating with lawyers and other team members to ensure high-quality, compliant, and efficient service delivery
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of immigration issues and global immigration processes, with the ability to interpret and apply relevant regulations.
- Experience advising on and handling visa applications, including eligibility assessments and documentation requirements.
- Background in law or legal services, with familiarity in immigration law and related compliance standards.
- Consulting skills, including structured client interviews, needs assessment, and clear presentation of options and risks.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
- Ability to manage multiple cases, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills, cultural awareness, and commitment to non-discriminatory, inclusive client service.
- Relevant academic or professional qualifications in law, immigration, or a related field; accreditation or registration with appropriate professional bodies is an advantage.
- Proficiency with standard office software and case management tools; prior experience in a law firm or immigration consultancy is beneficial.
