Immigration Coordinator

Job type: Contract Inside IR35
Job location: Lincoln – hybrid after training (5 days training)
Rates: £17.50 PAYE per hour OR £22 per hour Umbrella
Duration: 6 months – 6 months rolling contract - turning into a perm

The Role

We are looking for an organised and proactive Immigration Coordinator to support the global mobilisation of Field Service Engineers. You will coordinate visa and immigration requirements, ensuring engineers have the correct documentation in place to mobilise to projects on time.

You will work closely with Resource Planners, Project Managers, regional teams, embassies, consulates, and immigration specialists, providing guidance on visa requirements and supporting both planned and urgent deployments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate visa and immigration applications for Field Service Engineers.
  • Organising the visa, ensuring compliance, Visa application to ensure mobilisations.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date visa information and application guidance.
  • Monitor changes to immigration requirements and update internal processes accordingly.
  • Support manpower planning by identifying visa requirements for upcoming international assignments.
  • Respond to visa and immigration queries from Field Service teams.
  • Gather and verify country-specific immigration requirements with embassies, consulates, and immigration specialists.
  • Build effective relationships with internal stakeholders and external immigration partners.
  • Share immigration best practices and support continuous process improvement.

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience in immigration, visa coordination, global mobility, or international assignments.
  • Using SAP - inhouse system
  • Good understanding of visa and immigration processes.
  • Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple applications, deadlines, and priorities.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Confident working with databases, reports, and administrative processes.
  • Proactive problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
