U.S. Immigration Paralegal
Join a leading specialist U.S. immigration law firm in London NNU Immigration Limited | London | Hybrid
NNU Immigration Limited is looking for an exceptional U.S. Immigration Paralegal to join our growing team in London.
This is an opportunity for a highly motivated, academically strong and commercially minded individual to build a career within a specialist U.S. immigration practice working with international businesses, entrepreneurs, investors and high-calibre professionals.
You will work closely with experienced U.S. immigration attorneys in both London and New York, gaining substantial hands-on experience across complex U.S. immigration matters. The role has a particular focus on investor visas and intracompany transfers, while also providing exposure to a broad range of temporary and permanent U.S. immigration categories.
If you are intellectually curious, exceptionally organised, a strong writer and someone who enjoys solving problems rather than simply following processes, we would like to hear from you.
About NNU Immigration
NNU Immigration is a leading London-based law firm devoted exclusively to U.S. immigration law and consular services.
We advise global businesses, entrepreneurs and individuals across a range of sectors, including technology, media and entertainment, healthcare, manufacturing and financial services. Our work spans sophisticated corporate immigration matters, investor visas, intracompany transfers, talent visas and permanent immigration.
We pride ourselves on providing high-calibre legal advice, exceptional client service and commercially focused solutions.
We are a growing specialist practice, which means our team members have the opportunity to take meaningful responsibility, work closely with senior lawyers and become genuinely immersed in their cases.
The Opportunity
This is not a role where you will simply prepare forms and assemble documents.
You will be expected to think critically, identify issues, understand the commercial context of a case and take ownership of your work.
Working under the guidance of our managing and associate attorneys, you will support cases from initial client instruction through to submission and beyond. You will interact directly with clients, conduct legal and procedural research, draft correspondence and application materials, and help attorneys develop strategies for complex matters.
The successful candidate will have a UK or U.S. legal background, excellent academic credentials and outstanding written and analytical skills. Previous U.S. immigration experience is highly desirable, but we are equally interested in exceptional candidates with transferable legal skills and a genuine interest in developing a career in U.S. immigration.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
