Key Responsibilities
As an experienced Immigration Paralegal, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Assist fee earners in contacting prospective clients and converting them into new clients.
- Assist in taking instructions from clients, preparing Home Office applications, and compiling application bundles.
- Assist in drafting, validating, assigning Certificates of Sponsorship, Visa applications forms and reports on the SMS.
- Attracting new clients by promoting the business using your profile, social media, and networks.
- Managing the firm's social media platforms to increase interaction and interest.
- Answering telephone calls and handling inquiries professionally.
- Undertaking general administrative tasks using our in-house case management system, including e-filing, scanning, uploading documents, preparing court bundles, and opening/closing files.
- Recording file notes and telephone notes accurately on each file using our case management system.
- Maintaining orderly and tidy files, ensuring disbursements and other items are recorded promptly.
- Issuing invoices and managing client accounts.

Qualifications and Experience

- University student, preferably studying Law, Literature, Journalism, English Language, or History.
- At least 2 to 3 years experience working in the industry as a paralegal in any sector.
Essential Skills and Abilities
- Strong command of the English language, both written and verbal.
- Ability to draft emails, memos, letters and reports with instructions from lawyers.
- A very good understanding of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Willingness and enthusiasm to learn.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality at all times.
Pay
- £30,000 per annum
Visa Sponsorship
Visa sponsorship is available for eligible candidates who have at least six months remaining on their current visa. Subject to satisfactory performance and meeting all applicable sponsorship requirements, sponsorship may be offered thereafter.
