A global firm with an excellent reputation for client service is looking to appoint an Immigration Partner to drive their UK Immigration offering.

This is a new role for the firm and an opportunity for a senior immigration lawyer to take the lead in developing the practice, working closely with colleagues across the wider firm and acting as a key point of contact for UK immigration matters, particularly in the corporate space.

The role

You will:

  • Act as a key point of contact for clients on UK immigration matters, including M&A, corporate structuring, secondments, recruitment, employment contracts and TUPE.
  • Advise HNW private clients on a range of UK immigration matters.
  • Work closely with other departments to identify opportunities and cross-sell wider firm services.
  • Advise corporate clients on Global Mobility and Skilled Worker matters, including acting as a Level 1 User on the Sponsor Management System.
  • Visit client sites to deliver training and carry out immigration compliance audits.
  • Take an active role in business development and help shape the growth of the firm's immigration offering.

About you

You will be a Senior Solicitor or Partner with strong UK immigration experience, ideally gained within a City or global law firm.

  • A strong track record of providing practical, commercially focused immigration advice.
  • Excellent client relationship skills and the ability to act as a trusted adviser to senior stakeholders.
  • A proven ability to develop business, cross-sell wider firm services and generate revenue.
  • The drive and commercial approach to help build and grow an immigration practice.
