The Role

A boutique specialist immigration law firm based in central London is looking to take on a new immigration solicitor to join the existing team. The firm has extensive knowledge and expertise in UK nationality and immigration law including both corporate and private clients.

They have an opening for a commercially aware, immigration solicitor with knowledge and experience of UK Immigration issues to join the team. The position would suit a newly qualified (NQ) solicitor and you will be working closely with the partner on a wide range of client-facing matters.

You will possess a broad understanding of the legal principles involved and have some prior experience in handling immigration cases. This is an excellent opportunity to gain a broad range of experience and develop your career in this sector!

What they are looking for?

  • A commercially aware private immigration solicitor - (the position is intended to be a NQ role, but all levels of experience will be considered!)
  • Possess strong drafting skills, legal analysis, verbal and written communication skills, and law knowledge
  • You must be able to apply the law with a degree of commerciality and be prepared to give your viewpoint to clients
  • Strong ethical standards, have a team spirit, and be passionate about the work carried out
