Job Opportunity

We are looking for a public health focused nurse, midwife, or other healthcare professional to join our friendly and supportive team in Essex. The team works across the county providing immunisations in schools and community settings, including BCG and Hepatitis B programmes.

If you have previous immunisation experience and have worked with a variety of ages, we would love to receive your application.

Please contact Nicky King on 07990 847111 or email nicky.king3@nhs.net for an informal chat. We look forward to hearing from you.

Proposed interview date: 16th September 2026*

HCT will prioritise recruitment of workers living in England under the new immigration rules for care workers effective from 9 April 2025. Employers must first prove that they have attempted to recruit a worker from within England who needs new sponsorship. This ensures that those who came to the UK to pursue a career in adult social care can do so.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
