Role Description
This is a part-time, remote Immunologist role supporting GRG Health’s healthcare research and intelligence projects. The Immunologist will provide expert input on immune system mechanisms, disease pathways, and therapeutic strategies across areas such as allergy and oncology.
Day-to-day responsibilities include:
- Reviewing scientific literature
- Interpreting laboratory and clinical data
- Contributing to research designs and evidence-based insights for client engagements
- Collaborating with analysts, refining research questionnaires and frameworks
- Translating complex immunology concepts into clear, actionable content for internal teams and external stakeholders
- Supporting the evaluation of emerging therapies and technologies relevant to immunology and related specialties
- Collaborating with research analysts, medical experts, and global life sciences project teams to review clinical and scientific content, interpret research findings, and provide specialist perspectives on immunological conditions, diagnostic approaches, treatment strategies, and evolving standards of care

Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert insights across clinical immunology, immune-mediated diseases, immunodeficiency, allergy, and related areas of immunological medicine, where relevant to the candidate's expertise.
- Review and validate clinical or scientific content, research materials, surveys, and healthcare intelligence outputs for accuracy and relevance.
- Contribute to research projects exploring disease mechanisms, diagnostic pathways, treatment patterns, clinical decision-making, patient journeys, and unmet needs.
- Provide perspectives on the diagnosis, monitoring, and management of immune-related conditions and complex immunological disorders.
- Share insights into autoimmune diseases, primary and secondary immunodeficiencies, allergic conditions, inflammatory disorders, and immune-mediated diseases, depending on the research focus.
- Contribute specialist perspectives on immunomodulatory and biologic therapies, immunotherapy, emerging treatment approaches, and evolving standards of care.
- Support the interpretation of clinical and scientific data and translate complex immunological concepts into clear, structured insights for research and non-clinical stakeholders.
- Participate, where relevant, in virtual advisory boards, expert interviews, surveys, and research consultations.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary and international teams on healthcare and life sciences research initiatives.
- Provide practical perspectives on diagnostic testing, laboratory investigations, treatment selection, patient monitoring, referral pathways, and real-world clinical practice.

Qualification
- Specialist qualification, advanced degree, board certification, or equivalent professional training in Immunology, Clinical Immunology, Allergy and Immunology, or a closely related discipline.
- Strong clinical, scientific, or research experience in immunology and immune-mediated conditions.
- Good knowledge of contemporary diagnostic approaches, therapeutic strategies, clinical guidelines, and evolving standards of care within the relevant area of immunology.
- Experience with autoimmune diseases, immunodeficiency disorders, allergic conditions, inflammatory diseases, immunotherapy, or biologic therapies is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with immunological diagnostics, biomarkers, laboratory testing, immune profiling, or other relevant diagnostic technologies is advantageous.
- Strong understanding of disease mechanisms, treatment pathways, patient management, and clinical or research decision-making.
- Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to interpret scientific and clinical evidence and communicate complex immunological concepts clearly to both clinical and non-clinical stakeholders.
- Previous involvement in clinical research, translational research, medical consulting, real-world evidence, healthcare research, advisory boards, or similar activities is advantageous.
- Relevant professional registration, certification, or license is preferred where applicable to the candidate's role and jurisdiction.
- Comfortable working remotely with global, cross-functional teams and using standard digital collaboration tools.
