At AFG, we pursue the vision of empowering our people to build African companies into global champions. We do this by catalysing a more enabling private-sector environment for African businesses through technology. AFG is proudly home to three core brands to fulfil this mission: African Hidden Champions (AHC), the leading scaling platform for homegrown mid-sized businesses in Africa; AHEAD, an online learning community for Africa’s top young professionals looking to make an impact in African organisations; and Peralta, a marketplace that allows top African freelancers to work on projects that advance the African private sector.

At Peralta, we are building Africa’s premier marketplace for freelance talent by connecting top African professionals with businesses that need their expertise. Our mission is to unlock high-quality project opportunities for skilled talent while enabling African organisations to access flexible, reliable expertise that helps them grow. As a Peralta Impact Manager, you are the face of Peralta for your clients. You build trusted commercial relationships, understand what customers need, and guide them through the full Peralta experience, from their first conversation with us to successful project delivery and repeat business.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Role Persona

I take ownership of the full customer relationship. I do not hand off a client after making a sale. I stay close enough to ensure they receive value, return when they need support again, and see Peralta as a trusted partner.

I combine empathy with commercial discipline. I listen carefully, communicate clearly, manage expectations, and keep momentum through every stage of the client journey.

I am eager to learn. I value structured training, use feedback to improve quickly, and want to build out a career in B2B sales, account management, and Africa’s growing digital services economy.
