Shape the future of digital construction and skills innovation
We’re delighted to be working in partnership with BE‑ST (Built Environment – Smarter Transformation) to recruit an Impact Manager with a strong technical and digital focus to support the next phase of transformation across the built environment.
This is a unique opportunity for someone with hands-on digital/BIM expertise and a technical built environment background to help drive innovation, support industry skills development, and influence how modern methods of construction evolve.
The Role
This role sits at the intersection of digital construction, manufacturing innovation, and skills development.
You’ll play a key role in supporting businesses and partners to adopt digital tools, BIM processes, and modern methods of construction, while also contributing to the development of skills across the sector.
The Impact Manager will play a central role in advancing digital construction and manufacturing innovation across the built environment, with a particular focus on the practical application of BIM and modern methods of construction.
- Working closely with industry partners, you will support the adoption of digital tools and processes, particularly within offsite manufacturing and timber-based systems, helping organisations translate strategy into real-world delivery.
- A key aspect of the role involves designing and delivering engaging training, workshops, and knowledge-sharing activities to build capability and confidence across the sector.
- You will also contribute to collaborative projects, providing technical expertise, strengthening partnerships, and ensuring that innovation is effectively embedded into practice.

Who we’re looking for
We’re looking for a technically strong and engaging professional with a rare blend of digital expertise and industry experience.
You’ll bring:
- Strong experience in digital construction and BIM (Building Information Modelling)
- A background in the built environment, ideally as an Architectural Technologist/Technician or similar
- Experience working with or within offsite manufacturing, timber construction, or MMC environments
- Confidence in teaching, presenting, or facilitating learning for a range of audiences
- The ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, practical insights
- Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work across multi‑disciplinary environments

We’re currently operating a hybrid working model. Due to the nature of the role, some travel may be required within Scotland and occasionally within the UK and internationally, but the role is primarily based at our BE-ST campus in Hamilton.
Programme Support Coordinator
Organised and proactive Programme Support Coordinator to join our The Scottish Tertiary Alliance Framework project.
This is a unique opportunity for someone to contribute to a high-profile collaborative initiative involving multiple institutions and stakeholders. Working closely with senior programme leaders, you will provide comprehensive administrative, organisational and operational support to help ensure programme activities are delivered effectively.
The role offers a great opportunity to gain exposure to strategic programme delivery, project governance and stakeholder management while building relationships across the higher education sector and making a meaningful contribution to an ambitious and impactful collaboration.
The Role
As Programme Support Coordinator, you will play a key role in supporting the successful delivery of the Strategic Alliance Programme, providing high-quality programme and executive support, coordinating governance activities, maintaining programme documentation, managing communications and ensuring actions are progressed effectively.

Working closely with colleagues and stakeholders across the partnership, you will support financial monitoring and reporting, organise workshops, events and engagement activities, and contribute to the preparation of reports, presentations and programme materials.
This is a varied and rewarding opportunity for an organised and proactive individual who enjoys working in a collaborative environment, building positive relationships and helping to deliver initiatives that create meaningful impact.
Who we're looking for
You will be an experienced administrator with excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities within a complex and fast-paced environment.
You will bring:
- Degree-level education or equivalent relevant professional experience.
- Experience supporting and coordinating projects, programmes or large-scale coordination events and activities.
- Experience of financial administration, budget tracking and preparing financial information or reports.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate records.
- Confidence using Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook and Teams.
- The ability to work independently, prioritise effectively and meet competing deadlines.
- Experience working collaboratively across multiple teams and stakeholders.
- Experience within a higher education environment would be advantageous.

- Salary: £31,236 - £37,694 per annum (depending on experience)
