Role Summary
The Impact Manager will lead the development and execution of key workstreams within the Conduit’s Solutions Agenda, ensuring the successful delivery of high-impact initiatives that drive scalable, cross-sector change. This includes overseeing end-to-end programme management, from design and delivery to impact measurement and reporting, while managing timelines, resources, and workstreams across multiple stakeholders.
Working closely with the Senior Director, Impact Programmes, the Impact Manager will also shape the broader Solutions Agenda platform, working across the organisation to ensure it delivers measurable impact, strengthens The Conduit’s position as a global convener, and becomes a recognised driver of systems-level change. Alongside delivery, the role will involve actively identifying and responding to emerging opportunities that can extend the reach, relevance, and influence of The Conduit’s impact work on the global stage.
Key Responsibilities
Shape and Execute High-Impact Solutions
- Play a leading role in formulating and executing key initiatives under The Conduit’s Solutions Agenda. This will include delivering key elements of existing initiatives under AI for Good, the Future of Impact Leadership, and Reimagining Democracy & Justice, as well as work on partnership proposals to create credible products that create value and potential revenue.
- Manage delivery across multiple workstreams, overseeing resources, timelines, convenings, and strategic partners.
- Support the Senior Director, Impact Programmes, and Chief Engagement Officer in strategy development, programme delivery, and external engagement.
- Lead impact design and measurement processes across relevant Solutions, including baselining, data collection, and reporting.

Leverage the Solutions Agenda Platform
- Work across the organisation to shape, embed, and evolve the Solutions Agenda as a platform for global influence, using it to position The Conduit as a global convener, at the forefront of social and environmental innovation.
- In partnership with the Senior Director, Impact Programmes, and the Chief Engagement Officer, build consistent narrative and messaging across initiatives to maximise visibility, credibility, and strategic alignment.
Engage with Strategic Opportunities to Maximise Impact
- Monitor emerging trends, partnerships, funding, and policy shifts to identify opportunities aligned with the Solutions Agenda.
- Collaborate with internal teams to integrate these opportunities into broader Conduit activities, amplifying the reach and relevance of impact initiatives.
- Proactively connect solutions to new audiences, markets, or funders to unlock further growth and adoption.
Skills & Experience
Essential:
Programme and Project Management
- Proven experience leading end-to-end programme or initiative delivery, including budget management, ideally in the social impact, non-profit, or sustainability sectors.
- Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple complex workstreams simultaneously.

Stakeholder Engagement and Partnership Building
- Skilled in managing and collaborating with a wide range of stakeholders, including funders, NGOs, corporate partners, policy makers, and community groups.
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with changing priorities.
- Curious and responsive to global trends, funding opportunities, and emerging partnerships that align with mission-driven work.
Strategic Thinking and Execution
- Experience translating broad vision and goals into actionable strategies and measurable outcomes.
Content, Communication, and Thought Leadership
- Ability to communicate impact effectively to diverse audiences, including senior leaders, funders, and external stakeholders.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling narratives for events, publications, and external engagement.
- Experience contributing to or producing thought leadership outputs, such as reports, articles, or event content.
Cross-sector Understanding
- Familiarity with key issues in social justice, climate action, or other global development topics.
- Knowledge of the UK and/or global social impact ecosystem.
Desirable:
- Experience working in or with mission-driven businesses, international NGOs, policy institutions, or innovation labs.
- Familiarity with event planning and convening high-level discussions or workshops.
- Background in monitoring, evaluation, and learning (MEL), policy advocacy, or systems change strategies.
