We are looking for an Implant Finish Operative to join our client’s manufacturing team based in Sheffield.

Benefits

  • Location: Sheffield, S9
  • Hours: 5 hours per week – Day shift – Monday to Wednesday 6am to 4pm & Thursday 6am to 3.30pm
  • Pay: £15.25 per hour
  • Contract: Permanent

This is a hands-on production role involving the finishing and inspection of components to ensure they meet the required quality and dimensional specifications.

The Role

You will be responsible for a range of finishing and inspection duties, including:

  • Straightening, buffing, linishing, mop polishing, and vibration polishing components
  • Using linishing belts, Scotch-Brite, and polishing wheels
  • Carrying out detailed visual inspections and quality checks
  • Using precision measuring equipment such as verniers, height gauges, and shadowgraph equipment
  • Loading and unloading components and moving materials around the department
  • Completing production and timekeeping paperwork
  • Maintaining a clean, tidy, and safe working environment
  • Working as part of a team to meet production targets and quality standards

Previous experience in manufacturing, polishing, linishing, finishing, or quality inspection would be advantageous, although full training will be provided where required.

Please note: This is a physical, hands-on role involving periods of standing, repetitive use of hands and wrists, and manual handling. Trays of components can weigh approximately 12-15kg, with bags of polishing media weighing up to 20kg.
