Implementation Co-ordinator
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join The Christie NHS Foundation Trust as a Implementation Co-ordinator, playing a key role in one of the most significant workforce transformation programmes currently taking place across the NHS. The successful candidate will support the implementation of the NHS People Portal, the replacement for the current Electronic Staff Record (ESR), and improve the experience of staff and managers across the Trust.
About the Role
Working within the Workforce Systems and Transformation Team, you will support the planning, coordination and delivery of all aspects of the Trust's implementation programme. You will work closely with the Implementation Lead, key stakeholders, managers and system users to ensure the successful deployment of the new system.
The role offers an excellent opportunity for an individual with experience of workforce systems, project support, training delivery and stakeholder engagement. You will act as a subject matter expert for the new system, providing guidance, troubleshooting support and practical solutions to help users adopt new ways of working. A significant element of the role will involve designing and delivering engaging training sessions, developing support materials and ensuring staff have the knowledge required of the new system.

Key Responsibilities
- Support the delivery of the Trust-wide implementation of the NHS People Portal, ensuring project milestones are achieved and stakeholders are engaged throughout the transition from ESR.
- Work alongside the Implementation Lead, coordinating implementation activities, monitoring progress, identifying risks and supporting effective communication across the organisation.
- Act as a system administrator and subject matter expert, assisting with system configuration, user access management, data validation and testing activities.
- Provide first-line support to managers and staff, investigating and resolving system issues where possible and escalating complex matters appropriately.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure the system operates effectively and securely.
- Develop and deliver training and user support, creating and maintaining training materials, facilitating workshops and training sessions, coordinating user engagement activities and providing ongoing support to staff as they adapt to new processes and ways of working.
- Monitor training effectiveness, gather feedback and identify additional learning needs to ensure successful system adoption.
