The role
As an Implementation Consultant, your role involves delivering and configuring software solutions for our customers, providing UAT support, writing ad-hoc scripts, building bespoke interfaces, ensuring processes and documentation are updated and using a variety of technical skills to deliver strong professional service to customers.
You will provide training both internally and externally and perform testing on Heywood’s new product modules as required. Additionally, providing third-line support to our Service Desk team on an ad-hoc basis.
You will have…
- A track record of managing multiple projects simultaneously to meet customer deadlines
- Skills to build strong relationships with customers
- Advanced SQL coding skills (any version, but we use Oracle)
- Experience coding in at least one dynamic scripting language (e.g., Python, Node JS, PowerShell, or Apache Groovy)
- Business reporting intelligence experience (using tools like BIRT, Tableau, or Power BI)
- Knowledge of REST APIs and standard HTTP methods and data migration; either using in-house tools or scripting migrations
- Experience using SFTP servers to transfer data extracts for migrations
- Proven background of tracking spend on projects against agreed budgets, producing project documentation for customer sign-off, and presenting at user groups, webinars, and testing parties
- Some experience within third-line support, testing, and customer training
