We're looking for a driven and customer-focused Implementation Consultant to join Zellis, the UK's leading provider of HR, Payroll and People Experience solutions.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced consultant, implementation specialist or payroll/HCM professional who enjoys working closely with customers to deliver successful projects, solve complex challenges and make a tangible impact. You'll partner with organisations of all sizes to help them implement, configure and optimise our market-leading solutions, ensuring exceptional outcomes throughout the customer journey.
Reporting to a Managing Implementation Consultant, you'll play a key role in delivering high-quality implementation projects, providing expert guidance to customers and helping them realise the full value of their investment in Zellis solutions. No two projects are the same, giving you the opportunity to continually develop your expertise, build trusted relationships and broaden your consulting experience.
What you'll be doing
Customer Consultancy & Delivery
- Act as a trusted advisor and subject matter expert, guiding customers through implementation and adoption of Zellis solutions.
- Build strong customer relationships and promote a collaborative "One Team" approach to delivery.
- Support customers in understanding industry best practice processes and operational design.
Project Implementation
- Plan, schedule and coordinate implementation tasks across multiple customer projects.
- Produce, review and deliver implementation documentation, configuration and project deliverables.
- Collaborate with project managers, consultants and customer stakeholders to achieve key milestones.

Testing, Risk Management & Quality Assurance
- Complete testing activities to ensure solutions meet agreed requirements and acceptance criteria.
- Identify, manage and escalate risks, issues and dependencies in a timely manner.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute ideas that enhance delivery effectiveness.
What we're looking for
We're seeking a proactive and commercially minded consultant who combines strong customer engagement skills with a passion for delivering exceptional outcomes.
You'll ideally bring:
- Previous experience delivering software implementation, consultancy or managed service projects.
- Experience supporting Payroll, HCM implementations.
- Significant understanding of Payroll processing and legislation.
- Excellent planning, organisation and project coordination capabilities.
- The ability to identify and resolve complex issues while managing competing priorities.
- Experience with payroll data migration, integrations or testing would be highly advantageous.
