Implementation Consultant
Planisware UK | Professional Services (Orchestra Product Focus)
Location: MediaCityUK, Salford, On Site
Employment type: Permanent, Full-time
Travel: Some UK customer travel, with occasional international travel as required
About the role
As an Implementation Consultant at Planisware, you will play a key role in delivering successful Planisware implementations for our customers.
Working as part of our Professional Services team, you will partner closely with customers to understand their business processes, challenges and objectives, and translate these into practical, high-quality solutions using Planisware.
This is a hands-on consulting role combining business analysis, solution design, system configuration, and customer engagement. You will guide customers through the implementation journey, from requirements and fit-to-standard workshops through configuration, testing, training, go-live, and transition into ongoing support.
Our UK delivery approach places particular emphasis on clear scope, fit-to-standard thinking, strong customer engagement, and delivering sustainable solutions rather than unnecessary customisation.
What you'll do
Customer discovery & consulting
- Build strong, trusted relationships with customer stakeholders throughout the implementation.
- Facilitate workshops to understand business processes, challenges, and desired outcomes.
- Ask the right questions to distinguish genuine business requirements from existing ways of working.
- Help customers understand Planisware capabilities and recommend practical approaches aligned with product capabilities and leading practices.
- Confidently challenge requirements where a simpler or more sustainable solution would deliver a better outcome.
Solution design & configuration
- Translate business requirements into clear functional and technical solution designs.
- Configure Planisware solutions to meet agreed customer requirements.
- Take ownership of defined functional areas or implementation workstreams.
- Demonstrate configured functionality to customers and incorporate feedback within the agreed scope.
- Maintain clear implementation documentation and configuration records.
- Consider maintainability, usability, and long-term customer adoption when designing solutions.
Reasons to use Rodeo
I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
