Implementation Consultant - Revs and Bens

At Civica, we create software that helps deliver critical services to citizens around the world. Our Revenues & Benefits solutions support local authorities in delivering vital services to communities, helping them manage council tax, business rates and benefits administration effectively.

We're looking for an Implementation Consultant - Revenues & Benefits to join our Customer team. You'll work with local authority customers to successfully implement and optimise Civica's Revenues & Benefits solutions, ensuring they gain maximum value from their investment and achieve successful business outcomes.

What you'll be doing

  • Leading the implementation of Civica Revenues & Benefits solutions for local authority customers
  • Running discovery workshops to understand customer processes, requirements and objectives
  • Configuring software solutions to meet customer needs and best practice standards
  • Delivering training, demonstrations and knowledge transfer sessions to end users
  • Supporting data migration, testing and go-live activities
  • Providing expert guidance on Revenues & Benefits processes and system capabilities
  • Managing implementation risks, issues and dependencies throughout the project lifecycle
  • Building strong relationships with customer stakeholders
  • Working closely with Project Managers, Customer Success Managers, Product teams and Support teams to deliver successful outcomes

Requirements

  • Experience implementing or supporting Revenues & Benefits software solutions
  • Knowledge of local government Revenues & Benefits processes, including Council Tax, Business Rates and/or Housing Benefits
  • Experience working in a consultancy, implementation or customer-facing role
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
  • The ability to gather and translate business requirements into effective solutions
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Experience delivering workshops, training or user engagement activities
  • A collaborative approach with a focus on customer success
