Summary of Position
Pirum is seeking an Implementation Delivery Senior Associate to deliver the hands-on technical implementation of client onboarding — configuration, data mapping, inbound file analysis and testing — across the Pirum product suite. This is a delivery role that works independently on standard engagements while escalating genuine complexity to senior specialists and the Programme Manager.
The role sits within the delivery team and pairs with a Programme Manager on active integrations, owning the technical build and the quality of the work while project governance is held elsewhere.
Pirum is building a structured knowledge and AI capability across the C-X group. Every role in the function both draws on that capability and contributes to it. We expect people to use AI tooling where it genuinely accelerates work, and to exercise judgement about where it does not.
Duties & Responsibilities
Technical Delivery & Configuration
- Configure services and relationship mapping on standard client engagements to a high standard
- Execute detailed file analysis independently; document gap analysis and resolution decisions clearly
- Use AI-assisted analysis for first-pass gap analysis and field mapping, then verify every finding against the load gates and the inbound schema
- Create new entities and manage users and contacts configuration without supervision
- Identify configuration risks and raise them proactively to the Programme Manager and senior team where appropriate
Testing & Quality Assurance
- Design and execute test scenarios for standard onboarding engagements independently
- Generate candidate test scenarios with AI tooling and apply judgement about coverage — what has been missed matters more than what has been produced
- Manage the UAT extract exchange process, with client coordination support from the Programme Manager
- Track and resolve defects through to closure independently; escalate only genuine blockers
- Produce clear, complete test evidence that meets audit requirements
Domain & Integration Knowledge
- Maintain solid working knowledge of the Pirum inbound data schema across key transaction types
- Record mapping decisions, gap analysis and resolution rationale in a form that is reusable by others and by AI-assisted retrieval, rather than only in the engagement it came from
- Understand the integration requirements of standard connectivity patterns (SFTP, MQ) and support connectivity testing
- Build and apply competence across vendor system landscapes and their typical integration patterns
- Handle routine data validation and inbound file analysis with full confidence

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

- Standard engagements configured, tested and delivered independently, with senior input reserved for genuine complexity

- Configuration and data risks identified and raised early rather than surfacing in UAT or production
- Growing competence across vendor system landscapes and the Pirum data schema
