Job Summary

Intelliscape, part of Modaxo, delivers intelligent transport systems used by UK local authorities to improve safety, reduce congestion and support enforcement operations.

Join our team as an Implementation Engineer and take ownership of delivering tailored technology solutions, working closely with customers to configure, test, and implement innovative software and hardware systems.

This is a hybrid role based from our North Bristol office, with at least three office-based days each week and some travel to customer sites when projects or support activities require it.

Job Description

Responsibilities

Working closely with Project Managers, customers, internal technical teams, and external partners, the Implementation Engineer helps ensure that new systems, upgrades, and product changes are delivered accurately, efficiently, and to the agreed customer requirements.

The role also provides second-line incident support, taking ownership of more complex technical issues escalated by the Service Desk. This includes investigating faults, progressing incidents through to resolution, keeping stakeholders informed, and coordinating escalation to specialist teams where required.

This is a varied and hands-on role. Priorities and activities will change according to customer, project, and operational requirements. The successful candidate will therefore combine practical technical ability with a flexible approach, personal ownership, and a strong commitment to delivering an excellent service to both internal and external customers.

Delivery & Implementation

  • Configure, implement, and test software and hardware solutions in line with customer requirements.
  • Support Project Managers throughout the delivery lifecycle, providing technical expertise and identifying risks or dependencies.
  • Prepare systems for deployment, ensuring they are fully tested, documented, and ready for operational use.
  • Work with customers, third-party suppliers, and integration partners to deliver successful project outcomes.
  • Support customer acceptance, go-live, and handover activities.

Incident & Technical Support

  • Provide second-line support for incidents and service requests escalated by the Service Desk, taking ownership of assigned tickets from investigation through to resolution or agreed escalation.
  • Investigate faults, identify root causes, and implement appropriate resolutions or workarounds.
  • Take ownership of assigned tickets, ensuring they are progressed, updated, and resolved within agreed service levels.
  • Escalate issues to specialist teams where needed, while maintaining oversight until the next step, workaround, or resolution is agreed.
  • Identify recurring issues and contribute to permanent corrective actions and service improvements.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
