About This Role
We are looking for a Partner Implementation Manager with 2-4 years of experience to serve as the technical expert and single point of contact between the company implementation org and our growing partner ecosystem. You'll start by learning the platform hands-on as an IC, then transition into overseeing partner-led implementations across enterprise R&D accounts in chemicals, materials, and adjacent industries.
What will you be doing?
- Spending the first ~6 months as a hands-on member of the implementation team, learning the platform and cutting your teeth on live customer engagements
- Transitioning to manage 3-5 (growing to 10-20) partner-led accounts, acting as the internal point of contact
- Holding regular check-ins with partners, answering questions, resolving issues, and providing best practices on how to address customer use cases
- Collaborating cross-functionally with product, engineering, account management, and the implementations engineering team to support partner needs
- Building enablement infrastructure and training materials that allow partners to implement the software independently at a high quality bar

Key Requirements
- STEM degree (chemical engineering, materials science, chemistry, or related field) with a meaningful understanding of scientific research workflows
- 2-4 years of professional experience in enterprise software implementations, technical consulting, or as a researcher
- Strong customer-facing soft skills — you must be comfortable presenting, coaching, and managing stakeholders relationships
- Willingness to roll up your sleeves as an IC first and build this function from scratch in an ambiguous environment
- Comfort with scientific/technical software (ELNs, LIMS, data management tools) and ability to pick up new platforms quickly
Role Details
- Experience: 1 - 3 years of experience in technical implementation, scientific consulting, or enterprise software delivery
- Salary: GBP 60K - 85K
- Equity: Competitive equity
- Work Policy: Hybrid work policy (3/4 days in the office based in London Bridge)

Work Experience
- Customer-facing role in enterprise software implementation or technical consulting
- Experience in scientific/R&D industry (chemicals, materials, pharma, food & bev, or similar)
- Archetype 2: Researcher/scientist who transitioned to software or consulting.
- Prior partner-facing, channel, or enablement role in a technical context
Education
- STEM degree (chemical engineering, materials science, chemistry, biology, or related field)
- M.S. or Ph.D. in chemistry, materials science, chemical engineering, or related
Hard skills
- Scientific data comprehension — ability to interpret experimental data structures (formulations, sample hierarchies, test methods)
- Familiarity with scientific software tools (ELNs, LIMS, data analysis tools, or similar)
- Experience managing multiple accounts/projects simultaneously (10+ workstreams)
Soft Skills
- Strong communicator who can teach and coach external teams, not just solve problems themselves
