About us
Humaans is building the next generation of infrastructure for the workplace; software designed for companies that are scaling fast, operating globally, and pushing into new boundaries.
What started as a system of record has evolved into a broader platform for operating people globally. With Athena, our agentic AI layer, Humaans moves beyond data management into intelligent orchestration, connecting workflows across HR, IT, Finance, and Operations so organisations can act faster and with greater confidence, redefining how work gets done.
We work with ambitious teams across Europe and the US, from AI-native companies like Lovable, Poolside, Fyxer AI, and Tandem Health, to established, high-growth organisations scaling internationally and through acquisition, including Quantexa, Sellpy, Manychat, Gigs, Croud, and Threecolts. These teams don’t buy software for features, they buy leverage. The ability to run faster, cleaner, and with more control as complexity compounds.
To date, we’ve raised $20m in venture funding from some of the most respected founders, operators, and funds in technology: Lachy Groom (Physical Intelligence), Stewart Butterfield (Slack), Tobias Lütke (Shopify), Dylan Field (Figma), Jeff Weiner (LinkedIn), Claire Johnson (Stripe), Oliver Jay (OpenAI), Jay Simmons (Bond) as well as Y Combinator, Moonfire, Frontline Ventures, Pathlight Ventures, and Exor.
If you have massive ambition and want to work on a hard problem, with a small team that moves fast, at a moment when the category is genuinely up for grabs - this is it.
The role
A great implementation sets the tone for everything that follows: product adoption, customer confidence and the quality of the long-term relationship.
As an Implementation Manager, you’ll own the customer journey from signed contract to successful launch across both our core HRIS and Athena platforms. You’ll help customers migrate complex data, configure Humaans around their organisation and deploy AI agents that deliver value from day one.
You’ll work closely with customers and teams across Sales, Customer Success, Product and Engineering. Alongside delivering excellent implementations, you’ll improve how the work itself gets done, using AI to increase accuracy, reduce manual effort and shorten time to value for every customer that follows.
What you’ll do
- Own implementation projects from initial scoping through to launch, establishing clear requirements, timelines and responsibilities across the HRIS and Athena platforms.
- Lead complex data migrations for global organisations, using AI-assisted tooling to accelerate data preparation, identify anomalies and validate accuracy at scale.
- Configure Humaans around each customer’s organisational structure, workflows and policies, ensuring the platform reflects how they operate.
- Act as a trusted adviser, guiding customers through implementation best practices and helping them achieve their operational transformation goals.
- Manage stakeholders across HR, IT, Finance and Operations, maintaining alignment, resolving blockers and keeping multiple projects on track.
- Guide customers through integrations, APIs and webhooks so they can take advantage of the platform’s technical capabilities.
- Establish a seamless handover to Customer Success, ensuring the team has the context and foundations required to build a successful long-term relationship.
- Improve our implementation approach by introducing AI-enabled workflows, refining playbooks and sharing recurring patterns, friction points and product feedback with Product and Engineering.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

What we’re looking for
- Evidence of owning SaaS implementation or onboarding projects involving complex data, ideally for enterprise or global customers.
- A strong record of delivering projects on time and within scope while managing multiple workstreams and stakeholders.
- Exceptional attention to detail, particularly when handling data migration, validation and product configuration.
- Practical experience using AI to materially improve implementation work, with clear examples of what changed and the impact it delivered.
- Confidence working with integrations, APIs and webhooks, with the ability to explain technical requirements clearly to customers.
- Strong working knowledge of Google Sheets or Excel and the ability to learn new systems and tools quickly.
- Clear, credible communication and the judgement to manage expectations, resolve difficult situations and build trust with senior stakeholders.
- Comfort operating in an environment where processes are still developing and you are expected to improve them through hands-on experience.
You may not be a great fit if
- You prefer to inherit a fully established implementation process.
- You are uncomfortable taking personal responsibility for project timelines, data accuracy and the quality of a customer’s launch.
- You rely on customers or internal teams to drive progress when projects become complex or unclear.
- You prefer to avoid technical conversations involving data, integrations, APIs or webhooks.
- You have not yet incorporated AI meaningfully into your work.
- You are uncomfortable managing several projects and stakeholder groups at the same time.

Why Join Humaans Today?
HR tech is having its AI moment and we’re positioned to own it. Humaans started as a next-gen HRIS taking on large incumbents in a massive market. We’ve since evolved into something even bigger: an AI platform that sits across workforce data and automates the operational layer of HR entirely; the natural progression of what we’ve been building toward.
The product is highly differentiated. It’s built around a structured workforce data model that makes AI reliable in an HR context, something no one else has gotten right. Customers notice the difference immediately.
We’re backed by Y Combinator, Lachy Groom, Moonfire, Frontline Ventures, and operators who’ve built some of the most consequential software companies of the last decade: the founders of Slack, Figma, and Shopify, and Asana’s former CRO and Head of OpenAI International.
We’re a small team with an unapologetically high bar. It shows up in the product, in how we communicate, and in the standards we hold each other to.
Our Commitment to Diversity
At Humaans we’re looking for genuinely good people that are transparent and emphatic. We’re committed to providing equal opportunities, a diverse and inclusive work environment, and ensuring a fair interview process for everyone. You’re welcome to apply no matter your gender, ethnicity, sexual orientation, religion, civil or family status, age, disability, or race.

This includes things like your CV, contact details, and any other information you choose to share. We may also contact you about future opportunities. You can ask us to delete your data at any time.
