Client Implementation Manager, Travel Management Company, Remote with occasional travel for meetings.
Are you an experienced project or implementation professional with a background in corporate travel? Do you thrive on delivering exceptional client experiences and ensuring complex projects run seamlessly from start to finish? We're looking for a Client Implementation Manager professional to lead the successful onboarding of new clients.
Acting as the central point of contact throughout the implementation process, you'll work closely with clients and internal teams to deliver smooth, on-time implementations while driving continuous improvements to the onboarding processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end client implementation projects from contract signature through to successful go-live.
- Develop and manage project plans, timelines and implementation milestones, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within scope.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the onboarding journey, providing an outstanding customer experience.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams including Sales, Operations, Technology, Finance and Account Management to ensure successful project delivery.
- Gather and manage client requirements, including online booking tools, traveller profiles, travel policies, approval workflows, reporting and system integrations.
- Manage project risks, dependencies and change requests, keeping clients and stakeholders informed throughout.
- Coordinate user acceptance testing, client training, go-live activities and early-life support.
- Deliver structured handovers to Operations and Account Management, ensuring clients are fully operational and set up for long-term success.
- Maintain project documentation, implementation standards and governance throughout the onboarding process.
- Identify opportunities to improve implementation processes through automation, best practice and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Provide product support and guidance to clients and internal stakeholders, helping maximise the value of travel technology solutions.

What We're Looking For
- Experience within a Corporate Travel or Travel Management Company (TMC).
- Proven experience managing client onboarding, implementation or customer deployment projects.
- Knowledge of online booking tools such as Atriis, Cytric, Concur or similar platforms.
- Strong project management, organisation and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build trusted client relationships.
- Commercially aware, proactive and solutions-focused, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience with GDS platforms, Salesforce or project management methodologies such as PRINCE2 or Agile would be an advantage.
