Implementation Support - Pensions - 12 month FTC/maternity cover

Location: Reigate (Hybrid - 50%)
Contract: Permanent
Hours: 35 hours

Purpose

To provide high calibre and proactive support to the Data team for all new scheme implementations, reviewing data, and dealing with data queries.
To support where required as a contact for implementation queries from Third Party Administrator (TPA) and the Defined Benefit (DB) Operations team.

Key responsibilities

  • Support implementations process completing initial high-level data checks ensuring data is fit for the next level of checks, aiding an effective and efficient data sign off ahead of true up and TPA onboarding.
  • Support the flow of all scheme implementations in to TPA, attending work planning calls in respect of implementations.
  • Support the Onboarding and Buyout team with the TPA onboarding sign off process maintaining records of the sign offs completed in line with the agreed DB Governance matrix.
  • Help support all operational tasks for schemes in transition such as payroll funding and member calculations, working with Operational teams as required.
  • Be initial point of contact for the Operational teams for any funding or other queries during the TPA set up process.
  • Support the BAU handover process with TPA and Operational team, owning any queries and resolving as required.
  • Support the production and collation of monthly transition MI.

What we’re looking for

  • Self-starter, able to work on own and to tight deadlines, maintaining exceptional standards of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Good organisational and prioritisation skills.
  • Good verbal, written communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Good analytical and issue resolution skills.
  • An understanding of project management would be beneficial, but not essential.
  • An understanding of DB pensions and/or Bulk annuities, pension scheme administration requirements and systems would be beneficial, but not essential.
  • Experience working in the pensions industry for administrators or an insurance company would be beneficial.
