Renishaw is currently looking for an Import / Export Coordinator to join a dynamic logistics & compliance function. You will be responsible for the accurate execution of day-to-day import and export activity in line with procedures and customs regulatory requirements.

As an Import / Export Coordinator, you will ensure shipment data, documentation and records are complete, accurate and properly controlled to support timely customs clearance and audit-ready outcomes. Responsibilities

  • Shipment preparation & documentation control

    • Prepare and manage end-to-end import and export shipment files in line with internal procedures.
    • Ensure all required documentation is received, validated and retained correctly, including:
      • Commercial invoices

      • Supporting customs and compliance data
    • Check documents for accuracy, consistency and completeness prior to clearance or dispatch.
  • Import activities

    • Prepare and issue clearance instructions to brokers or forwarders in line with agreed processes.
    • Validate key import data including commodity code, customs value, quantity, Incoterms, CPC and EORI details.
    • Identify missing, inconsistent or unclear information and liaise with internal stakeholders or external partners to resolve issues.
    • Escalate issues that cannot be resolved within standard process or delegated authority.
  • Export activities

    • Check exports against licence requirements and export declarations.
    • Support proof of export and VAT evidence checks.
    • Ensure final documentation and declaration records are retained in accordance with record-keeping requirements.
    • Support amendments or corrections where required and update shipment records accordingly.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
