ABOUT THE ROLE
Are you an experienced Import Merchandiser looking for your next challenge? Do you want to work with fun, creative products in a fast-paced, growing business? This could be the role for you.
We’re looking for an Import Merchandiser to join our team, working across a variety of toy categories. You’ll manage the product journey from concept through to delivery, ensuring everything arrives on time, at the right price, and to the highest quality.
Day-to-day, you’ll:
- Raise, track, and manage purchase orders.
- Own the Critical Path, making sure key milestones and delivery dates are met.
- Liaise daily with factories in the Far East to track samples, approvals, and testing.
- Ensure packaging, testing, and labelling meet customer requirements.
- Arrange bulk test reports with suppliers and vendors.
- Build strong relationships with major retailers and overseas factories.
- Support the team with essential admin to keep projects running smoothly.

ABOUT THE CANDIDATE
We’d love to hear from you if you have:
- Experience in merchandising (import or wholesale background ideal).
- A strong understanding of managing the Critical Path.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- Confidence working with Far East factories.
- A hands-on, proactive approach — willing to “roll up your sleeves” in a small but busy team.
- Good IT skills (Microsoft Office essential).

ABOUT THE CLIENT
West Yorkshire based retail supplier who design, source, and supply to leading retailers in the UK. The role will be office based x2 days so you must be able to commute to the office to be considered.
SALARY
Up to £30,000 - Depending on Experience
