Job Opportunity at Seafast Logistics

Seafast Logistics, part of GB Global is seeking a Import Operations Junior to provide efficient operational administration and support for import processes, ensuring accurate and timely handling of customer instructions, documentation, and customs procedures.

Responsibilities:

  • Receive customer instructions and complete accordingly
  • Make up customer files
  • Make final destination bookings
  • Liaising with goods inwards / outwards at customer sites to ensure deliveries are booked in advance
  • Ensure the transport selected to these sites in in compliance with our customer service level agreements
  • Request and book haulage with approved hauliers only
  • Responsible for completing CHED-Ps on IPAFF’s
  • Photo copying / scanning documents as required and ensure any documentation is uploaded into Cargowise in Edocs
  • Sending all documents to PH via courier
  • Arrange payment to PH / Shipping Lines as required
  • Lodge original B/Ls as required to relevant shipping line
  • Claim UCNs from port system
  • Complete custom entries
  • Generate customer invoices where required
  • Ensure all completed files and filed away
  • To assist / cover the Import Operations Assistants when required

  • No experience required but preferred
  • Competent with MS office, all customs and port systems and processes relevant to the role.
  • Maintain and build good working relationship with all customers
  • Conduct self in a professional, approachable, and ethical manner displaying a positive attitude at all times
  • Remain flexible and open-minded to change ensuring excellent customer service at all times
  • Ability to work accurately to fixed deadlines whilst maintaining focus and attention to detail at all times
