Role Overview

The Imports Agent is responsible for supporting all aspects of daily import operations, from initial enquiry through to shipment recovery and final clearance, ensuring shipments are handled in a compliant, timely, and professional manner. For the Senior role you would require a strong understanding of World Courier’s SOPs, written guidance, customs clearance processes, CDS, and customs declarations for both air and road freight. The successful candidate will have strong decision-making and communication skills, the ability to work independently and as part of a team, and experience liaising with clients, service providers, regulatory bodies, other World Courier offices, internal departments, Border Force, Port Health, and local customs authorities. A flexible and adaptable approach is essential due to the changing nature of customs regulations, alongside a commitment to maintaining high standards of accuracy, compliance, and customer service.

This role will be based on a working pattern of 8.5 hours per day on a 40 hour working week, between Monday to Sunday, 6 am – midnight. There will be some flexibility on the days of work and core times worked. This can be discussed further at interview.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
