Interim Senior Corporate Counsel | M&A + Commercial | Remote
I’m working with a fast-growing international consumer/e-commerce business looking for a Senior Corporate Counsel to join its legal team on an initial maternity cover contract.
It’s a particularly good opportunity for a corporate lawyer who enjoys M&A but doesn’t want to do M&A all day, every day.
The business has grown through the acquisition of consumer brands and continues to have an active acquisition strategy. You’ll take ownership of the legal workstreams around transactions – from LOIs and due diligence through to transaction documents and completion, alongside a genuinely broad in-house remit.

Between deals, you’ll work across commercial contracts, corporate matters, IP, data and other day-to-day legal issues within a lean, international legal team.

- Can confidently run transaction workstreams
- Is happy turning their hand to broader commercial work
- Is organised and comfortable managing multiple competing priorities
- Can operate with a high degree of autonomy and good judgement

You don’t need to be the finished article – they are open on PQE – but you do need enough hands-on experience to come in and take ownership quickly.
📍 UK – fully remote
💰 c.£110k–£120k
⏱️ Initial maternity cover, with potential for a longer-term opportunity
