In-House Corporate Tax Role
Location: London / Hybrid
Salary: £70-75,000 + Bonus + Package
We are supporting a financial services group looking at making a new hire.
This role is ideal for a newly or recently ACA and/or CTA (or equivalent) qualified professional seeking to transition into (or develop within) an in-house environment, building strong technical capability across UK corporate tax compliance and reporting, while gaining exposure to advisory projects, transfer pricing, and wider group tax initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Corporate Tax Compliance
- Preparation and review of UK corporation tax computations and returns for group entities
- Management of the annual corporate tax compliance timetable and coordination with external tax advisers
- Review of tax data provided by finance teams, ensuring accuracy and consistency
- Supporting responses to HMRC queries, audits and information requests
- Monitoring tax payment deadlines and instalment payments

- Advisory & Project Work
- Supporting on in-house corporate tax advisory matters, including:
- Group reorganisations and simplifications
- New business activities, products or structures
- Loss utilisation and group relief planning
- Capital allowances and fixed asset reviews
- Assisting with the tax aspects of transactions, integrations or internal restructures
- Monitoring legislative developments and assessing practical impact on the business
- Supporting on in-house corporate tax advisory matters, including:

- Acting as a key point of contact for finance colleagues on corporate tax matters
- Building effective working relationships with external advisers
- Supporting the Group Tax Manager with process improvements and documentation
