About the Role

We're looking for a qualified solicitor with 6+ years' PQE gained within a well-recognised national or regional practice, to join our UK client’s in-house legal team as an employment lawyer. You'll work autonomously alongside Senior Legal Counsel on a broad range of employment-related legal issues in a thriving and dynamic company.

You can expect a busy and stimulating workload as the trusted advisor to the business. No two days will be the same, and for example, you'll:

  • Advise on current and forthcoming employment-related legislation and best practice, mitigating legal risk
  • Manage employment dispute resolution and tribunals through to completion, liaising with external lawyers
  • Draft contracts, templates, and advise the business on HR issues
  • Take on relevant project work
  • Draft employment contracts, draft or amend policies and procedures, etc.
  • Be able to work with lots of autonomy, but also collegiately with members of the benefits team, HR team, or broader legal team

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
