European VAT Senior Manager - London
A leading global organisation is seeking an experienced European VAT Senior Manager to lead VAT strategy, governance, and risk management across a complex European operation.
This is a senior leadership role focused on shaping VAT policy, driving cross-border tax strategy, and influencing key business decisions at the highest levels. The successful candidate will act as a trusted adviser to senior stakeholders, lead the resolution of complex VAT audits and controversies, and establish scalable governance frameworks that support a dynamic, multi-jurisdictional business.

Key requirements:
- Professional tax, accounting, or legal qualification (ACA, CA, CTA, CIOT, or equivalent).
- Extensive VAT experience gained within a Big Four firm, leading consultancy, law firm, multinational organisation, or tax authority.
- Deep expertise in UK and EU VAT, with strong international indirect tax experience.
- Proven ability to lead complex multi-jurisdictional engagements, influence senior stakeholders, and shape organisational tax strategy.
- Strong track record managing audits, controversies, and relationships with tax authorities.
