Job Title: In-House Legal Secretary
Salary: Up to £50,000
Location: London
Our client, a global luxury brand, is seeking a proactive, highly motivated legal secretary / administrator to support their London team of in-house lawyers. Prior experience working in-house is not required but it is essential that you have a minimum of two years’ experience working as a legal secretary, PA, or administrator within a legal environment to be considered.
Our client is looking for someone with a true team mentality and an enthusiastic "can-do" attitude. You will play a pivotal role in managing daily legal and administrative operations, with a primary focus on supporting legal counsel in the UK and other international offices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle day-to-day administrative operations for the team, including organising travel itineraries, managing expense submissions, filtering team inboxes, and liaising with the finance team to track invoicing.
- Help prepare and format legal templates, agreements, taking ownership of the digital signature workflow and keeping a close eye on completion timelines.
- Act as a key point of contact for head office colleagues and external partners to help oversee compliance, update statutory registers, and coordinate timely filings with regulatory bodies like Companies House.
- Keep digital workspaces and documents organised and accessible in line with internal filing policies and helping gather documentation for information requests and audits.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
