In House Litigation Solicitor
An In House Litigation Solicitor opportunity based in West Yorkshire, offering a varied defendant litigation caseload across employers liability, public liability, road traffic accident, property damage, and consumer disputes.

Description
The In House Litigation Solicitor will be:
- Managing a portfolio of defendant litigation matters from pre-action through to resolution, including higher value and complex claims
- Advising on legal strategy, risk, settlement opportunities, and compliance with court deadlines and procedural requirements
- Working closely with paralegals, managers, and senior stakeholders to ensure effective outcomes and excellent client service
- Supporting legal operations initiatives, process improvements, reporting, and the development of best practice documentation
- Contributing to colleague development through mentoring, feedback, and knowledge sharing

Profile
The In House Litigation Solicitor should be:
- A Solicitor or CILEX lawyer with litigation practice rights
- Experienced in litigation with a strong understanding of the Civil Procedure Rules
- Comfortable managing a varied caseload with minimal supervision
- Commercially aware and confident communicating with stakeholders at different levels
- Interested in legal technology, process improvement, and modern ways of working
Job Offer
- Competitive salary between £40,000 and £50,000, dependent on the level of experience
- Hybrid working, 2 days in office
