You will need to be able to commute to the Bristol office 1 day per week.
Your New Role
As an In-House Paralegal, you will provide legal and commercial support across a wide range of business activities, with a particular focus on commercial contracts and contract life cycle management.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Reviewing, negotiating, and managing a variety of commercial agreements, including Master Service Agreements (MSAs), software licence agreements, service agreements, Data Processing Agreements (DPAs), and Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs).
- Assisting with the drafting and amendment of variation agreements, change control documents, and contractual schedules.
- Providing practical and commercially focused guidance to internal stakeholders on contractual risks and obligations.
- Supporting technology-related legal matters, including intellectual property and data protection issues.
- Maintaining and enhancing contract templates, legal playbooks, and internal legal processes.
- Supporting contract execution processes and liaising with senior stakeholders when required.
- Managing contract records and supporting contract lifecycle management activities.
- Assisting with legal and regulatory compliance initiatives, including policy development and implementation.
- Working with external legal advisers where necessary.
- Monitoring legal and regulatory developments and communicating relevant updates to the wider business.
- Supporting the management of intellectual property assets, including trademarks.

What You'll Need to Succeed
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Significant experience working as a Paralegal with a strong understanding of commercial contracts.
- Proven experience independently reviewing, executing, and managing a range of commercial agreements.
- Strong knowledge of contract structures, including framework agreements and MSAs.
- The ability to identify commercial and legal risks and escalate issues appropriately.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the confidence to build effective relationships across business functions.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a practical, solutions-focused mindset.
- Experience supporting contract lifecycle management processes and maintaining accurate contract records.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, legal research, and electronic signature platforms.

The following experience would be advantageous:
- Previous in-house legal experience within a technology business.
- Experience advising technology-focused clients in private practice.
- Exposure to US legal frameworks or international commercial contracts.
- Knowledge of the pensions or financial services sector.
