Residential Conveyancing Solicitor
This is an excellent opportunity for a residential conveyancing solicitor to join a leading housing organisation on a 12-month FTC, managing a varied caseload of shared ownership, leasehold, resale and plot sales matters while providing legal support to key business stakeholders. The role also offers team leadership responsibility, overseeing paralegals and helping drive the successful delivery of residential development and affordable housing transactions.

Description
- Managing a varied caseload of residential property matters, including:
- Shared ownership sales
- Resales
- Staircasing transactions
- Leasehold sales and purchases
- General residential conveyancing matters
- Leading and supporting a team of paralegals, ensuring efficient case management and delivery
- Advising internal stakeholders on residential property and conveyancing issues
- Supporting residential developments, including legal set-up work and plot sales documentation
- Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, regulatory requirements and Homes England guidance
- Resolving complex property and conveyancing matters
- Building strong relationships across the business and providing practical, commercially focused legal advice
- Delivering legal updates, training and process improvements where required

Profile
- Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales
- Minimum 3 years' PQE in residential conveyancing and property law (flex)
- Strong experience handling residential property transactions from instruction through to completion
- Experience managing or supervising junior team members would be advantageous
- Excellent knowledge of leasehold transactions and residential conveyancing processes
- Shared ownership or affordable housing experience would be highly desirable
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Ability to balance a varied workload in a fast-paced environment
- Commercially minded and solutions-focused approach to legal issues
